Chris Pratt has left many of his fans divided once again with a tribute to his wife of six years, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor honored Schwarzenegger on Mother’s Day with a heartfelt post on Instagram.

“How do moms do it? Seriously,” Pratt wrote, alongside a carousel of photos showing Schwarzenegger with their daughters Lyla, 4, and Eloise, 2, and six-month-old son Ford. “It’s like running a circus, a hospital, and a five-star kitchen all at once.”
He went on to note: “Our kids hit the jackpot with you, and so did I. We love you. Happy Mother’s Day, Chief!”
Some of Pratt’s followers, however, were quick to point out he’d neglected to mention his first wife, actor Anna Faris, with whom he shares a 12-year-old son, Jack.

“In an amicable custody it would have been classy. Makes me think he tries too hard to cover up that he still feels for her,” one person wrote in the comments.

Added another: “She gave birth to his first children making him a father. To acknowledge that would’ve been the decent thing to do.”

Others, however, pointed out that it would be odd for Pratt to have included Faris, to whom he was married from 2009 to 2018, in his post. Faris has been married to cinematographer Michael Barrett since 2021.
“Most of you commenting about him not acknowledging his ex-wife can barely acknowledge, let alone speak to your ex. Yet here you are,” one person wrote. “She doesn’t mention him on Father’s Day either.”
HuffPost reached out to a representative for Pratt for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
Pratt, who was most recently seen in Netflix’s “The Electric State” opposite Millie Bobby Brown, has been hit with backlash for seemingly innocuous social media posts on more than one occasion.

Two years ago, Pratt celebrated “all of the mothers out there” in an Instagram post on Mother’s Day, naming Schwarzenegger and his own mother, Kathy Pratt, and mother-in-law Maria Shriver ― but not Faris.
Many also interpreted one of his 2019 posts, in which he acknowledged having a “gorgeous healthy daughter” with Schwarzenegger, as a dig at Faris because the former couple’s son was born two months premature and later experienced muscle and vision issues as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage.

For her part, Faris has spoken positively of both Pratt and Schwarzenegger in recent interviews. In a 2019 appearance on the “Divorce Sucks!” podcast, she described her relationship with her ex-husband as “good and respectful.”
“Grudge-holding is not something that Chris and I do,” she added.
Faris reiterated those sentiments in a 2022 People interview, noting that Pratt and Schwarzenegger were “very protective of me, and I want to be very protective of them.”

Regarding Schwarzenegger specifically, she added: “She’s just on top of it. I love how she is with Jack.”
